راهبرد شرکت‌های دارویی و ارزش افزوده اقتصادی

چکیده

مقدمه: جست‌و‌جو برای یافتن شاخصی برتر در ارزشیابی شرکت از ویژگی‌های بارز پژوهش­های مالی عصر حاضر است. بر این اساس، مدیران شرکت‌ها به دنبال استقرار چارچوب اقتصادی جدیدی در شرکت‌های خود برای انعکاس بهتر ارزش و سودآوری هستند. از این‌رو، انتخاب راهبرد بهینه از سوی مدیران منجر به ایجاد مزیت رقابتی پایدار می‌شود. لذا، هدف این پژوهش بررسی رابطه بین راهبرد شرکت‌های دارویی پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران با ارزش افزوده اقتصادی است.
روش پژوهش: این پژوهش کاربردی و طرح آن از نوع شبه‌تجربی با استفاده از رویکرد پس‌رویدادی است. نمونه پژوهش شامل 190 مشاهده سال-شرکت در بازه زمانی 1392-1383 است. داده‌های پژوهش با بکارگیری نرم‌افزار Eviews نسخه 8 و با استفاده از روش رگرسیون حداقل مربعات معمولی آزمون شد.
یافته‌ها: یافته­های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که بین راهبرد رهبری هزینه و ارزش افزوده اقتصادی رابطه مستقیم و معناداری وجود دارد اما بین راهبرد تمایز و ارزش افزوده اقتصادی رابطه معناداری وجود ندارد.  
نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج پژوهش بیانگر آن است که راهبرد رهبری هزینه تأثیر بسزایی بر بهبود ارزش افزوده اقتصادی شرکت‌های دارویی پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران دارد. به سخنی دیگر، مدیران شرکت‌های دارویی درصدد افزایش فروش به وسیله کاهش هزینه‌های تولید هستند.

Introduction: Searching for a prevailing index in evaluating companies is one of the prominent features of the financial researches in the present era. Accordingly, the managers of the companies are trying to establish a new economic framework in their companies for both a better reflection of value and profitability. Hence, choosing an optimal strategy by the managers leads to create a sustainable competitive advantage. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the strategy of the pharmaceutical companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange and the economic value added.
Method: This study is an applied research, and it uses a quasi-experimental design by means of ex-post-facto approach. The sample of the research includes 190 observations of the year-end of the company from 2004 to 2013. The data of the research have been tested by Eviews Software Version 8 and by the ordinary least square regression method.
Results: The results of the research state that there is a direct and significant relationship between cost leading strategy and economic value added. But, there is not a significant relationship between differentiation strategy and economic value added.
Conclusion: The results of the research suggest that the cost leading strategy has a significant effect on the improvement of economic value added of the pharmaceutical companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. In other words, the managers of the pharmaceutical companies intend to increase the sale by reducing the costs of production.
