Introduction: Psychological stress is an integral part of professional life. Accounting is one of the jobs that is directly related to job burnout. The aim of the present study is to investigate the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on psychological well-being, quality of life and job burnout of accountants of companies operating in the Azad Chabahar region. Research method: The method of this research is quasi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design through a control group. The statistical population of the current research is the accountants of companies operating in the Azad Chabahar region and the research sample includes 30 people (15 people in the experimental group and 15 people in the control group). Research data were collected using psychological well-being, quality of life and job burnout questionnaires. In order to test research hypotheses, multivariate variance test was used. Findings: Acceptance and commitment therapy has a significant effect on the psychological well-being, quality of life and job burnout of accountants. Conclusion: Acceptance and commitment therapy reduces the job burnout of accountants and increases their psychological well-being and quality of life. Companies or organizations can reduce the rate of burnout of accountants by holding acceptance and commitment treatment courses and help increase their well-being and quality of life.
